Commission to participate in RUOK Week at Monash University’s Clayton, Melbourne campus in the newly installed MPavilion, designed by Rem Koolhass and gifted to the university by the Naomi Milgrom Foundation.

RUOK's mission is to "inspire and empower everyone to meaningfully connect with people around them and support anyone struggling with life", with a focus on suicide prevention. Hypnapod’s themes of connectedness and fostering new kinds of conversation aligned with RUOK’s mission and was a meaningful addition to Monash’s week-long RUOK program, offering students and staff alike an opportunity to relax, reflect and connect with peers in a supported, artistic and unconventional way.

Rich conversations were had with students from diverse cultural backgrounds and study fields such as physiotherapy, computer science, health and design about the Hypnapod, inspiring new thinking about the potential of Hypnapod technically, culturally and artistically.

This project was supported through Arts Tasmania by the Minister for the Arts.
